Robyn Poarch grew up in the Deep South, learning how to bake and knowing that one day she would pass down her family’s heirloom recipes to her own children. Robyn spent lots of time with her mother and grandmother, learning how to make a perfect pie crust.
In the late 1990′s, Robyn got married and moved to New York City. She continued to bake pies for dinners, holidays and as gifts for friends. It didn’t take long before she began getting requests…and then orders. Soon Robyn had a small business on her hands and Porch Pies was born!
Today, Robyn lives in L.A. with her family and continues to bake the pies of her southern grandmothers and we’re so happy she does! Porch Pies makes pies that will leave you speechless and smiling: A sweet and delicate Buttermilk Pie, Southern Pecan, Sweet Potato, Chocolate Chess, Coconut Chess, and Lemon Chess. They also make seasonal pies using only the freshest ingredients: Mixed Berry Crumble, Peaches and Cream and Apple Buttermilk. Feeling hungry yet?
