Northern Decor’s New Website is LIVE

Founded in 2014, Northern Decor has grown exponentially over the years. From building custom furniture and decor pieces for select clients to greatly expanding their catalog of rentals, to designing and building a fleet of caravans starting with the Cliveden and the Bellaire!

Making such great strides, they knew it was time to amplify the Northern Decor website experience while staying true to Northern Decor. To bring their website to life, they worked closely with a website designer who perfectly executed their vision by creating three dedicated websites for Northern Decor, Northern Decor Rentals, and Northern Caravan Company under one home website.

We are thrilled with the look and function of the new Northern Decor websites and we hope you are too!

Ethereal Ebell Long Beach Wedding Inspiration Featured on 100 Layer Cake

We love seeing this ethereal Ebell Long Beach wedding inspiration featured on 100 Layer Cake! Our client ROQUE Events created the ultimate wedding inspiration.

The ceremony was set in the stately ballroom with soaring hand-stenciled, beamed ceilings with dazzling iron and crystal chandeliers. The tall ceiling and drapery provided the perfect backdrop for the intimate ceremony, complete with regal Arthur Chairs from our client Bright Event Rentals. With such a grand backdrop, floral arrangements in different heights were added for dimension. The guest lounge was set by Found Rentals. Their Longoria Couch, Pecore Coffee Table, and Kelly Chartreuse chairs set the scene and added in more mustard yellow.

Stepping into the sky-lit courtyard was the epic tented cabana reception. The cabana floral arrangement included baby’s breath, roses, carnations, butterfly ranunculus and spray roses. The table was set with ivory linen from La Tavola with the perfect pop of mustard in the napkins. The Athena Stoneware, Vintage Pearl Flatware, and Twist glassware from Bright elevated the reception table.

Both brides looked absolutely stunning – one in a Galia Lahav and the other in a Monique Lluhier gown. We were so excited to have an additional pink dress from Giambattista Valli x H&M collection!

Premiere Party Rents’ 30th Anniversary Celebration

We could not be more honored and excited to celebrate the 30th anniversary of our client, Premiere Party Rents this milestone.

Premiere Party Rents celebrated their 30th anniversary on Tuesday, June 4th at Optimist Studios in Los Angeles, California with roughly 300 guests and revealed their new and refreshed branding.

The night was a raging success due to a generous list of amazing sponsors! From cocktails and delicious bites to a beauty bar and a fun photo booth, they cannot be thanked enough!

As guests checked in, they were invited to walk the carpet where our previous logos were on display. In the cocktail area, guests were greeted by a violinist playing tunes in a clear tented structure. To keep hunger at bay, tray passed hors d’oeuvres from Tres LA catering were served. Custom themed cocktails such as “The Install,” “The Strike,” and “The Rain Plan” from Mama’s Medicine were created to quench guests thirsts. Premiere’s new Lavender Harper Lounge Collection was available for guests to sit and enjoy cocktail hour, while Elwynn and Cass hosted a fun lip and lash bar!

Following cocktail hour was the big reveal! Planners and designers Kristeen Labrot and Jason Rhee opened the doors to the main party in the utmost dramatic fashion with a smoke machine adding to the excitement. Guests marveled at the chandeliers made of Premiere Party Rents flatware, placed their Premiere Party Rents merchandise with screen printers, Mesa Made. Wood oven pizza provided by Dang Brothers Pizza was served from a fire truck and beer from San Pedro Brewing out of our Napa Bar Beer Tap were served.

In the main room, Premiere’s White Florence Bars were the center of the room with Flowers from Mayesh and designed by Heavenly Blooms placed atop the bar and on cocktail and coffee tables. Their new Harper Collection was placed throughout, giving guests a place to sit, along with our cocktail tables and chairs. Thanks to Images by Lighting, Premiere’s new logos were displayed along the walls. With their new chargers as a backdrop, LA Photo Party set up a fun photo booth for guests to reflect on the night. Another photo moment that was not to be missed was our chair installation. White Chiavari Chairs were placed in a circle against the wall, creating a fun photo opportunity!

Food food food food! So much food and desserts for guests to enjoy! Whoa Nelly, Made by Meg and An Catering had food stations serving delectable dishes keeping guests full and happy. Cake and an incredible dessert spread were provided by Fantasy Frostings along with a dessert station from Paleta Please. McConnell’s Ice Cream served favorite flavors while The Cappuccino Man served hot cocoa and a selection of coffee with Premiere’s new logo as a flavor stencil!

To add to the vibe, Vox DJ’s played tunes and Elite Global Entertainment had an aerialist performing high above the party while playing the violin (how cool!). Luckily, Jenny Quicksall was there to snap photographs, Bluecat Cinema caught it all on video and Live Wedding Art memorialized it by painting.

As the only female owned and operated rental company in our industry and region, we are so proud of what the women of Premiere Party Rents has accomplished and will accomplish in the next 30 years. We look forward to 30 more!

The Estate Caters Vera Wang Chicago Event

Celebrating her 60th bridal collection this coming October, Vera Wang’s Spring 2020 Collection features some of her most intricate bridal designs to date. With moody shades of blush, grey, and even sage making appearances, the collection boasts gowns that take on new life from every angle at which they are seen. Vera Wang Chicago and Modern Luxury Weddings Chicago recently hosted an exclusive showcase event for a look at the collection and The Estate proudly participated in the exquisite occasion by providing decadent bites alongside bubbly as guests perused the designs.

Just as Vera Wang took a 360-degree approach to design the gowns in this collection, The Estate’s chefs carefully crafted every element of the hors d’oeuvres that were served. As elegant models floated through the showroom in the ethereal gowns, guests were invited to grab bites of smoked salmon mousse on Belgium endives, pizza with parmesan cheese and marinated portobello mushrooms, ahi tuna on a toasted cracker with salt and pepper, and shrimp wraps with cucumber, shredded carrots, and lettuce, and a Cajun remoulade sauce.

Florence Anniversary Dinner Featured on Inside Weddings

Inspired by the still life works of Caravaggio, Michelle Durpetti of Michelle Durpetti Events designed a breathtaking tabletop in Florence for a joint celebration of anniversaries; her parent’s 50th and Michelle and her husband’s first. With the help of local creatives and a few from the US, the collaborative effort resulted in a stunning display of texture in autumnal tones that perfectly complemented the setting at the Palazzo Capponi and we are thrilled to see it featured on Inside Weddings!

“She was inspired by the still life paintings of Caravaggio and utilized a deep color palette of rich tones, along with seasonal fruits and flowers for the autumnal occasion. Though her husband is a professional photographer, Michelle didn’t want it to become a working dinner, so a local photography team was hired to capture the tablescape design. A combination of Italian and stateside vendors were brought in to bring Michelle’s vision to life. From fresh pomegranate fruits and cascading bunches of grapes to orchids and calla lilies, ‘all of it was a feast for the senses, which is exactly how I live to design events,’ she confirms.” – Inside Weddings
