Natalie Good: Owner, Planner, Designer of A Good Affair Wedding & Event Production.
Working with awesome couples who are kind, genuine people and helping them incorporate their personalities into their wedding design is what inspires Natalie to set apart her company, A Good Affair Wedding & Event Production, from the competition. Had she been able to see into a crystal ball, she would have seen herself exactly where she is today, ten years into a love affair with the world of planning weddings and special events.
As a child, Natalie always found any reason she could to bring friends together for a party, so it was no surprise when it came time for college that she headed to Cal Poly Pomona for a major in Communications and Public Relations. Soon after graduating, an opportunity arose to become Director of Catering and Events for a top-rated Orange County catering and event company. Successfully producing hundreds of weddings, corporate, and social events not only gave Natalie a plethora of experience, but also have made her a planner and coordinator with great insight and expertise.
After spending some time learning the ropes while gaining a repertoire of valuable event skills, she decided to strike out on her own focusing on doing what she loves the most – weddings and social events. Enter – A Good Affair!
With nearly a decade in the business of weddings and special events, Natalie has garnered a strong standing in the industry, great vendor relationships, and a superb track record for well-planned, beautiful events. She has earned distinction as the 2010-2011 Planner of the Year by Meeting Professionals International (MPI – OC), chosen to design and plan The Knot – OC Market Party as well as having her work featured on Style Me Pretty, Grey Likes Weddings, Green Wedding Shoes, Ceremony Magazine, Wedding Wire,Wedding Compass, Brides Magazine, Wedding Channel, Project Wedding and Broke Ass Bride. She is also in the forefront of the industry as a Certified Wedding Professional, a Member of Association of Bridal Consultants as well as sitting on the Board of Directors for MPI Orange County, (Meeting Planners International) for the past three years and as the Director at Large for ISES Orange County (International Special Events Society) in 2009-2010.
Great passion for her work isn’t the only thing about Natalie that’s interesting, if asked, she will tell you that she secretly craves guacamole almost everyday, loves to sing at high volumes while driving alone in her car and is obsessed with The Real Housewives and COACH handbags. She has a soft spot for animals and cries during ASPCA commercials. If she gets her way, one day she hopes to be able to rescue animals and give them safe, loving homes.
When she is not busy planning amazing weddings with her couples, she loves spending time with her husband, Jason and their fur babies Maggie and Piper, reading, painting (another true passion), and planning someday to cross a couple adventures off her bucket list with trips to Australia and Antarctica. One thing is for certain, with the passion that Natalie has for making a difference in people’s lives – success is her destiny!
