Ambiance Designs, A Classic Touch Events & Cean One Photography on Every Last Detail Blog

Friday, April 13, 2012 in California 2 comments by Kristine

What’s more perfect for your Friday than a colorful, fun wedding? And when I say colorful, I mean col-or-ful. From the flowers to the decor to the shoes… all the way down to the bride’s hair! Get ready to be wowed by Cean One Photography Studios and watch for some insight from the lovely bride, Amber, along the way.

What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?

My mother and sister helped me so much threw the journey of wedding planning and deciding on vendors and everthing elese ,especially keeping me calm . My wedding planner Annette Hoegner from A Classic Touch Events was lovely she was so helpful the day of my wedding.

What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?

The vendors had to be well organized, have great ideas, be available for questions, be professional, and of course we had to feel comfortable with them. All of my vendors were amazing. I do have to say my florist, Shawn Adams, is so talented. He helped me create the wedding of my dreams! Also my baker, Kirk Engrasci, created my perfect cake. He’s a true artist and a true perfectionist.

Did any of your vendors do anything special for you before, on, or after your wedding day that you would like to share?

My wedding coordinator, Annette, sent us our first couples Christmas ornament. Also, the day of my wedding she went over and above to make sure my chairs arrived there and were put together on time. For the reception, it was a really rainy day, and there was a possibility that my chairs weren’t going to get there, as the truck was stuck in the rain on the freeway- but Annette made it happen for for us! Thank you so much Annette!

What was your favorite thing about your wedding?

The whole venue is breath taking. Walking through the giant chapel doors for my grand entrance and then looking at my soon to be hubby had to be my favorite thing. 🙂

What is your best piece of advice for other brides?

Our advice : do your homework on all vendors, take time to make decisions, and most importantly, ask questions. Try and breathe, stay calm and don’t overreact. Think about or write down certain moments from the day that matter to you the most or what you want to remember so when those moments are happening you can pay extra attention to them to remember them always.

A big thank you to Cean One Photography Studios for (literally) brightening our day and to Amber for letting us share in her big day!

Wanna hear something fun? I LOVE group shots like the one above. Love ‘em. We did one for our wedding and those photos are some of my absolute favorites.

Thank you Every Last Detail for the beautiful feature!

Cean One Films shoots Kaley Cuoco for Zooey Magazine

We couldn’t be more proud of Christopher Orrett of Cean One Films for his accomplishments in the last year. Here is another example of the talent that Chris is mastering. We hope you enjoy this video featuring Kaley Cuoco for the cover shoot of Zooey Magazine!

About Chris Orrett and Cean One Films

I have been around cameras my entire life. I grew up with an amazing role model and mentor in the photography industry. His creativity and passion have always been an inspiration to me. My journey started with Cean One Photography a few years ago, it has been an amazing experience and has prepared me for the next step. For as long as I can remember, being a cinematographer has been my dream. Even as a child, I have never simply watched films; I become immersed in the story and dissect how they use light to create a certain mood or shoot from a specific angle to affect the audience. Out of my love for film grew my passion for creating my own films – for showing the emotion and connection that my clients share with each other. I truly love what I do and I aim for perfection. Given the opportunity, I won’t just record your wedding video, I’ll make a film. I’ll tell your love story.

Our Very Own Cean Orrett and Gareth Edmundson-Jones are Tying the Knot in NYC

We are beyond thrilled for our client Cean Orrett of Cean One Photography and his fiancee Gareth Edmundson-Jones! They are going to be getting married this Sunday April1, 2012 in New York City at the Dream Downtown! These two are so in love and just glow when they speak of each other.

Cean and Gareth met online on a dating website in the spring of 2010. They both traveled quite a bit for work so they casually dated for the next few months. They both decided that they would like to ring in 2011 together and that is when the sparks really flew. From then on they were inseparable. From there they went to Puerto Rico together for Valentines day and that sealed the deal. They realized they had done it! They fell in love! The trip was a magical experience for both of them and the subject of marriage came up. Cean would joke that he didn’t see a white horse anywhere (since that was what a prince should ride in on when sweeping someone off of their feet, right)? So a bit of time passed and the two of them traveled to New York together in July of 2011. Cean was surprised to have Gareth propose to him and after he accepted Gareth told Cean to look behind him and there it was The White Horse Tavern. So sweet! He got his man and his white horse. We look forward to sharing this wedding experience with them! Congratulations Cean and Gareth!!!!

On The Style Network’s all-new two-part event, Momster of the Bride, cameras follow future wives and their domineering moms as they battle each other for control of the big day.
From Style

The event examines the dynamics that exist between mother and daughter while trying to pull off one of the most important events in both their lives. Will mom prove that it’s her wedding to plan as much as it is her daughter’s?

Or will the bride win the test of wills to create a glorious event based on her own vision? A bridezilla is nothing compared to the Momster of the Bride when Style airs a replay of part one on Tuesday September 20 at 2:00pm, and part two Tuesday September 20th at 2:30pm PST.

In the premiere of Momster of the Bride, airing Monday, September 19th, a daughter’s dream wedding is being threatened by her bossy mother’s insistence on continuing family traditions.

As bride-to-be Shaylin plans her marriage to fiancé Jason in San Clemente, Calif., her mother Susan demands that she wear her grandmother’s antiquated wedding dress; the same dress she was forced to wear on her own wedding day. To make matters worse, Susan hires a family friend to photograph the wedding without consulting Shaylin and orders her daughter not to trim her hair for the pending nuptials. As tempers flare, fights ensue and tears are shed. Shaylin does her best to resist her mother’s constant unreasonable requests, but will she loose the battle?

Momster of the Bride is produced by Screen Door Entertainment for The Style Network with Joel Rizor and Paulina Williams serving as executive producers.
