The Special Event (TSE), produced yearly by leading marketing solutions company Penton, is the industry’s largest tradeshow and conference for event professionals where one can connect with over 5,000 event colleagues, exhibitors, and mentors. Led by the CL22 Productions team along with an experienced group of industry professionals as sponsors, 800 guests will be led on a musically inspired journey through four distinctly different designed areas, a fabulous sit down dinner, and a grand bridal fashion show.
The highly anticipated event will take guests on a quest of astonishing musical design by tapping into different genres through the use of rich textures, opulent table designs, and extravagant florals. Cynthia and the CL22 team are bringing their vision of a three dimensional atmosphere of textual inspiration reflecting the embodiment of four different musical artists perona’s distinguishable to their style & aesthetics. Each distinct area is transcendent to the intensely rhythmic form the headliner exudes giving the tableaus all a life of their own; “Urban & Edgy” Beyonce inspired, “Vintage & Romantic” Stevie Nicks inspired, “Earthy & Natural” Keith Urban inspired and “Extravagant & Lavish” Pavarotti inspired. Each definite artist will also be represented in a theatrical fashion show with gowns sponsored by the highly desirable Beverly Hills bridal salon, Panache Bridal.

The environments will range from high baroque with opulent jeweled tones in rich textures of heavily draped velvets framed with sculpted walls hosting crown moldings backed with a crushed velvet inlay and topped with extravagant gold gilted mirrors to natural wood colonnades rising into tiered heights, draped in whimsical natural muslin framing rural chic lounges & crowned with iron and crystal chandeliers with farm wood tables topped with crafted lace creating an etched pattern with soft champagnes, creams and blushes to name a few. Each area hosts its own lounge, so guests can explore each specific detail from the moment the event begins for their wedding experience.”

Cynthia Lopell launched her own event design and production company in 2008, CL22 Designs and Productions Inc. With her degree in set design and construction, she worked in New York City for 10 years honing her skills in creating environments that take its guests out of their own world and on a journey into another world.
From 1993 through 2008, Cynthia worked as an Event Producer and Designer in Los Angeles with Along Came Mary Productions, a top company in the entertainment arena for over 30 years.
