Definitely a first for most of us in the special events industry, definitely a first for Rayce PR client, Premiere Party Rents; a virtual ceremony. The bride and groom, Keiko and Kotara planned to have a destination wedding at Cielo Farms this past weekend, but due to visa issues, the bride was denied entry into the United States.
Determined to celebrate their love and ensure their guests enjoyed the night, Keiko and Kotaro tied the knot in a virtual ceremony. In the planner, Star Hansen’s words, “It is so incredible that even with oceans between us, we were still able to move forward with Keiko and Kotaro’s wedding. The moment when we first connected to them and their images popped up on the screen was magical – everyone cheered, smiled, and waved!” A mix of emotions for all involved, but thanks to the amazing creative team led by Star Hansen Events, everything went as well as it could when the guests of honor are more than 5,000 miles away.
With such unique and disappointing circumstances, Zohreen of Fox News discovered the story and covered Keiko and Kotara’s story.
