LOS ANGELES, Dec. 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — The Special Event Show (TSE), the largest tradeshow and conference for event professionals, invites event planners to TSE 2017, which will take place January 10-12, 2017 at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center in Long Beach, CA. TSE has been held annually since 1985 and brings together the best of the events industry from around the world. The event proudly hosts for the best of the events industry, with flagpoles present to represent just how many different countries are being represented there. Each country can be spotted by a huge flagpole flying high for them, to represent the events industry there. The event is huge every year.

TSE will feature more than 100 educational sessions in nine tracks: Business & Professional Development, C Level Executives, Design, Event Management, Event Technology, Catering, Sales & Marketing, Wedding and CPCE Fast Track, eight special showcasing events, 200+ exhibits and the TSE Live Theater and Design Gallery Showcase and Competition in the exhibit hall.

The Convention Industry Council, which administers the Certified Meeting Professional designation, has named The Special Event as a CMP Preferred Provider. On January 9, TSE Connects will welcome event professionals to Long Beach at the Federal Bar. Attendees will have the opportunity to mix and mingle with their event colleagues.

On January 10, TSE’s conferences and training will begin. In the evening, attendees will dive “Under the Sea for TSE,” at TSE’s Opening Night Party, taking place at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. From mermaids to sharks and everything in between, attendees will swim into The Special Event with an evening like no other! The Opening Night Party will take attendees to the ocean floor with innovative special effects, captivating marine performances, and maritime musical entertainment.

On January 11, TSE will feature a keynote presentation from the world champion hand cyclist and Paralympic medalist, Oz Sanchez, at the Opening General Session. Oz is no stranger to overcoming adversity. His motivating story will leave you inspired by his “know no limits” lifestyle. Directly after, TSE will open the exhibit hall, which will include the TSE Live Theater, Sponsored Lounges, Design Gallery Showcase and Competition, and the Gala Boards. A TSE Showstopper will await attendees. The very popular Wedding Event, which sells out every year, will provide attendees with an unforgettable evening into a musically inspired journey within: Weddings: A Lyrical Culture! Also, on January 11, attendees will support the SEARCH Foundation as they celebrate 20 years of giving. This event at TSE raises funds to support the SEARCH Foundation in its mission to assist special events, meetings and hospitality professionals faced with a life threatening illness or any catastrophic occurrence.

On January 12, Michael Cerbelli’s: The Hot List: 2017TM will take center stage, featuring a high-energy, fast-paced, jam-packed presentation of the hottest new ideas, products, and entertainment from around the globe. This will be followed by a full day of conferences, training, and exhibits. Additional events include the Leadership Lunch taking place at the Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA), where you can learn from the leaders-a thought-provoking afternoon of conversation and dialogue with top leaders inside and outside the event industry, as well as the Gala Awards ceremony. The Gala Awards–the oldest and most prestigious award in special events-will honor outstanding work in special events worldwide.
