Planned and designed by the talented Hylah White Special Events, this stunning Starry Night inspired styled shoot at Ebell of Long Beach was featured on The Knot to provide gorgeous wedding inspiration to all!
“The idea behind the theme was an artistic approach to infusing Vincent van Gogh’s The Starry Nightwith Claude Monet’s Water Lilies paintings. In other words, it’s perfect for romantic art buffs.
The event was brought to life at Ebell in Long Beach, California, with whimsical watercolor details, creative uplighting (and mood lighting!), lush florals and playful splashes of color.” – The Knot

When husband-and-wife team Carley Roney and David Liu cofounded The Knot, they had one mission in mind – to help other couples easily navigate every wedding planning detail, both big and small. After all, they’ve learned these lessons the hard way planning their own wedding (hint: make sure the AC works if you’re getting married on a rooftop in July!). Even though their wedding was a blast, Carley and David realized better resources would have made planning their nuptials a lot less stressful. So they vowed to make wedding planning easy and fun for everyone else. For nearly 20 years we’ve helped millions of couples plan amazing, memorable weddings.
The Ebell of Long Beach is one of Southern California’s most beloved historic venues. Built in the 1920’s as one of three women’s clubs by the philanthropic Ebell sisters, the Ebell has been lovingly restored and reimagined by owner Alan Dunn of Tres LA.
