Celebrating her 60th bridal collection this coming October, Vera Wang’s Spring 2020 Collection features some of her most intricate bridal designs to date. With moody shades of blush, grey, and even sage making appearances, the collection boasts gowns that take on new life from every angle at which they are seen. Vera Wang Chicago and Modern Luxury Weddings Chicago recently hosted an exclusive showcase event for a look at the collection and The Estate proudly participated in the exquisite occasion by providing decadent bites alongside bubbly as guests perused the designs.
Just as Vera Wang took a 360-degree approach to design the gowns in this collection, The Estate’s chefs carefully crafted every element of the hors d’oeuvres that were served. As elegant models floated through the showroom in the ethereal gowns, guests were invited to grab bites of smoked salmon mousse on Belgium endives, pizza with parmesan cheese and marinated portobello mushrooms, ahi tuna on a toasted cracker with salt and pepper, and shrimp wraps with cucumber, shredded carrots, and lettuce, and a Cajun remoulade sauce.
